OHMHAS 340 Stakeholder Listening Session
The Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) will be holding listening sessions to hear local input on changes to Chapter 340 of the Ohio Revised Code. This chapter governs local addiction and mental health services boards.
The goal for the statewide meetings is to facilitate roundtable conversations with representatives of local ADAHS boards, providers, county officials, community leaders, and Ohioans with lived experience and their families. The information gathered will allow OhioMHAS and members of the 340 Workgroup to listen and gather feedback around the delivery of behavioral health services in Ohio's communities. You can participate in-person or virtually.
The Southwest Ohio Meeting will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 2-4PM at the Warren County Educational Service Center, 1699 Deerfield Rd., Lebanon.

This is a public meeting and will include public input as part of the session.
Community Forum - Clinton County
Join us for a moving discussion about addiction and its ravaging effects on one family. MHRB Board of Directors member Angela Rahman will share her story working through her daughter's addiction and untimely death, and how she is using her experience to help others. A discussion will follow.

Overdose Awareness Day - Clinton County
Community events planned for JW Denver Williams Park in Wilmington and The Exchange, Church of the Nazarene in Blanchester. Hours for both locations are 4-7 PM. Come and enjoy food and community speakers, a Narcan training and distribution, and balloon release to honor loved ones lost to overdose.

MHRS will have an information table at this event. Scheduled for 9 AM to 4 PM at the Four Points by Sheraton in West Chester Township, the 8th annual conference will share information pertinent to the Asian American community in Greater Cincinnati.

Heroes SAVE 5K Run and Walk
The Heroes SAVE 5K Run & Walk is the first such event in the area promoting suicide prevention. It will be held Sunday, October 13 at Lebanon High School's VanDeGrift Stadium. MHRS is a sponsor and will have an information booth!
