School and Community-Based Behavioral Health Services Training

August 21, 2015  |  Training
As districts launch the new school year, Mental Health Recovery Services of Warren and Clinton Counties will be hosting an overview of available behavioral health services for school guidance counselors and administrators. This will include mental health and substance abuse services available in the schools as well as at our provider agencies. The goal is to better equip school personnel to intervene with students whose behavioral health needs are interfering with their academic attainment.

We will present information about our ever-increasing array of services including: training, prevention, parenting, early intervention groups, treatment, crisis, and intensive/specialized services.

Eligibility requirements, referral/intake processes, and contact information also will be reviewed. Each participant will receive a folder with useful resources for future reference.

We hope at least one representative from each school will participate. You may attend either of the following sessions as the same information will be provided. Pre-registration is requested.
